The Model BQ is is primary a general service, self-contained pressure relief / pressure sustaining regulator suitable as a back pressure regulator or bypass valve for controlling inlet pressures between 5-15 Psig (0,34 - 1,03 Barg). 10-25 Psig (0,69 - 1,72 Barg). 20-75 Psig (1,38 - 5,17 Barg).  65-150 Psig (4,48 - 10,3 Barg). 140-300 Psig (9,65 - 20,68 Barg).  For 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" (DN8, 10, and 15) process piping.  With a large orifice and diaphragm provide sensitivity with high capacity.  The composition seat allow for tight shut-off.

This Model BQ is excellent for atmospheric industrial gases – GN2, Ar, He, H2, CO2 – as well as natural gas.  Also pressure sustaining applications where the temperature is greater -29 Deg C.  Can be used as a utilities air regulator. Also for use in corrosive and non-corrosive chemical gas services are possible depending on material compatibility

Other options available upon request include Cleaning for Oxygen service, cryogenic construction and differential/pressure loaded construction.  Four body materials and twenty-one trim material combinations allow compatibility with many liquids and gasses.
