Microflow globe valves
Microflow globe valves are small control valves designed for pilot plant and research applications, for controlling extremely low flow rates of fluids. The term "microflow" refers to the very small volumetric flow rates that these valves are capable of handling. Per definition microflow valves are valves with a Cv > 0,05. They are suitable for control of low flow applications in all types of process industries.
Ramén Valves offers a wide range of microflow globe valves from Badger Meter. Feel free to contact us if you would like more information about our microflow globe valves.
How microflow globe valves work
Microflow globe valves are designed to provide precise control over very low flow rates, often in the microliter or milliliter per minute range. This level of control is essential in industries such as analytical chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and laboratory research.
They are typically constructed with high-quality materials to ensure accurate and repeatable performance at low flow rates.
Common applications
Microflow globe valves are small and flexible. Their compact size makes them suitable for applications such as sampling, low flow hydraulic systems and additive injection, or any other application where space is limited.
Different types of microflow valves
We offer several different models of microflow valves from Badger Meter:
Microflow 3-Way globe control valve RC 230
Microflow Barstock globe control valve RC 250
Microflow Angle Style globe control valve RC 220
Microflow globe valve RC 210
Microflow globe valve RC 210 T
Suitable for control of liquids, gases or steam, in industrial applications, research, and process pilot plants. Its compact size makes it an ideal choice for additive injection, sampling, low flow hydraulic systems or wherever precise control is an important factor or physical constraints limit valve weight or size.
Microflow Cryogenic globe control valve RC 260
Cryogenic control valve with NPT internal threads. Suitable for control of liquids, gases or steam, in industrial applications, research, and process pilot plants. Specifically for control of media at T ≤ -50 °C.
Microflow globe valve RC 200
The RC series is the classical standard line of small control valves originally developed for pilot plant and research applications for customers in all types of process industries. In addition to standard stainless steel housings, many other materials can be used. The wide range of material combinations, innervalves and other components is almost unlimited. The pneumatic actuator can be enhanced with positioners, regulators, solenoid valves and pressure gauges, all in a compact design adjusted to the valve size. Upon request, one-of-a-kind valve solutions can be produced.
